Welcome

The opening of this web store is my first public exhibit of artistic works and my earnest effort to explore publishing opportunities as a songwriter. I’m enamored with practically every genre of music. A range of styles including urban, country and rock were influential in the creation of the love ballads on my Songs page. You will also find Alternative Pop songs, reggae-flavored compositions, in addition to what I call Classy Pop, and a brand new invention Baby Boomer Rap. While my ear has a fondness for the spectrum of musical genre, my internal compass has a penchant to express themes about love and positive thinking.

While I’m particularly focused on engaging artists to consider my songs for their repertoire, I also enjoy the visual arts, and have included two of my works on the Paintings page.

Jarea Productions website is dedicated to my parents. My mother was an artist, receiving a Fine Arts degree and dad sang, composed songs and was also quite a poet (see Poems by My Dad page). The body of work I have accomplished and any accolades I may have the good fortune to receive are in honor of their sacrifices for family and talents unfulfilled.
